Work

Professionally, most of my time right now is going into Azure workload migrations: moving Cloud Services (extended support) to Azure App Services + VM Scale Sets, migrating AKS workloads to Azure Container Apps, and consolidating a sprawl of Azure directories and subscriptions into something saner. In between, I'm updating our CI/CD pipelines to keep pace with all of it.

Learning

Brushing the dust off TypeScript and picking up Python and FastAPI. Different ecosystem, similar itch. I like poking at a new stack every so often just to see how someone else solved the same problems I've been solving in .NET for twenty years.

Building

This site, mostly. It's my main personal project at the moment, equal parts notebook, résumé, and excuse to keep tinkering with Astro and React. I'm also gearing up for a new program year with our Trail Life troop, TX-0521.
